Capybara’s latest game Below sadly won’t bereleased within the next week and a half, so the studio has confirmed the obvious. The game has been pushed into 2016, as confirmed by President Nathan Vella with Game Informer.
“Below is indeed coming in 2016. Past that I can’t share much, yet. We’ll certainly have a lot more content to show and news to share in the new year.”
Capybara is best known for its string of successful pixelated indie hits including Critter Crunch, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes, Super Brothers: Sword and Sworcery EP, and Super Time Force. Below was first announced at Microsoft’s E3 2013 press conference, and it is scheduled to be released for both the Xbox One and PC.
Capybara describes it as an action adventure title with “brutal but fair combat” and threats of permadeath.
