Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has some space in a very, very big spotlight right now. The video game coming for the PlayStation 4 has a brief trailer that’s showing before the brand new Star Wars: The Force Awakens in select theaters.
The trailer is short, poetic and, quite honestly, a bit pointless for those who don’t know what Uncharted is. It’s still good.
Slow motion action plays for less than 30 seconds as Nathan Drake talks a bit about who he is. That’s all backdropped by a cover of The Pixies “Where is my Mind,” a song that I know best from the final seconds of Fight Club. That scene’s been burned into my memory, for sure.
What do you think? Was this the right clip to show millions and millions of people before Star Wars? Or, should Sony and Naughty Dog have gone with something a little more descriptive?
