Amazon continues to get serious about its original programming, announcing it has renewed and greenlit several shows for 2016. Prime subscribers will be happy to learn that Man in the High Castle has been renewed for season two, while Hand of God, which stars Ron Perlman, has also been given the go-ahead for a second season.
Red Oaks, a show I really enjoyed, has also been renewed; Red Oaks was a quirky 80s comedy reminiscent of all those fun teen movies that came out years ago. Finally, Amazon also ordered a full series of Good Girls Revolt, which features Lena Hall and Anna Camp.
Meanwhile, Amazon has picked a slate of other new shows, including: One Mississippi; Highston; Z: The Beginning of Everything; Patriot; Danger & Eggs; If you Give a Mouse a Cookie; and Niko and the Sword of Light.
No release dates for any of these shows have been shared, but we’ll keep an eye out for any new developments. Remember, all of these shows come as part of your Prime subscription, making Amazon’s service one of the best deals in tech.
