White House posts 360-degree holiday VR tour

The White House gets decked out around the holidays but, unless you’re able to schedule a tour, it’s often pretty hard to get a sense of just how decorated it really is. That’s changing, thanks to virtual reality.

This year you can tour the White House in all its Christmas splendor by donning Google Cardboard, or a similar virtual reality headset, and simply watching a 5 minute video tour. The White House recently posted the experience right to its YouTube account, giving viewers a whole new way to step inside its halls. It’s pretty incredible what’s now possible with virtual reality.

My favorite part? The huge chocolate model you’ll see right around 4:38. I embedded the video above so you can watch, but it’s kind of uncomfortable without a VR headset.
