House of Cards season 4 release date revealed

by Brandon Russell | December 17, 2015

Frank Underwood, the Democrat from South Carolina’s 5th Congressional District, will return to Netflix next March. The show’s official Twitter account made the announcement, lining it up with this week’s GOP debate; “We’re only getting started,” the announcement reads, along with a very American poster of Underwood (Kevin Spacey).

The faux advertising is a perfect way to align with the actual presidential race currently going on. You can catch a clip of the announcement, too, which also doubles as a sort of campaign video asking for America’s vote in the 2016 election.

House of Cards has been an incredibly strong part of Netflix’s original programming, though many people noted that season 3 wasn’t quite as good as earlier seasons. Can the fourth season rebound? We’ll find out when the show returns on March 4, 2016.
