Amazon Prime Video: Here are the titles being added in January

Amazon has released the list of movies being added in January, and it looks to be a decent start to the New Year. My only question is why Miracle On 34th Street, a movie about Christmas, is being added after the holiday has passed.

Aside from that weirdness, the list of content being added is fairly strong, with standouts such as Bone Tomahawk, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie: Sponge Out of Water, and Planes, Trains & Automobiles.

In addition to some comedy classics, Amazon is also introducing two new originals: Mad Dogs and Just Add Magic, the latter of which is based on the Cindy Callaghan children’s book. Amazon has added some subscription content, too, such as Showtime’s Shameless, and Starz’s Black Sails. Plenty of content to check out as the New Year turns.
