HTC‘s next phone, possibly called the One X9 is still a bit of a mystery. The device passed through Chinese certification last month with a few simple renders. Now we’re getting an even better look at the rumored handset.
A handful of leaked renders recently surfaced on Weibo, offering a more detailed take on what might be the HTC One X9. We get a clear look at the new phone’s camera, which sits flush with the rest of the device. You can also see the microSD card slot, a microUSB charging port on the bottom edge, capacitive buttons and front-facing speakers.
It doesn’t look like the One X9 will sport a fingerprint reader, unless HTC’s figured out a way to include the technology without a specialized sensor pad. The device is also expected to pack a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel rear camera (5-megapixels up front), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 3000mAh battery.
HTC is reportedly going after the mid-range market with the One X9, though we still don’t know when or where the device will launch. Hopefully we’ll learn more soon, but we wouldn’t expect an official reveal until at least early next year.
