Super Mario Galaxy

Has the ESRB played spoiler to Nintendo’s 2015 Christmas present? Nintendo Life has spotted a rating for the widely-beloved and oft-requested Super Mario Galaxy, hinting that the fan-favorite might finally be seeing a full digital re-release on the Wii U, just in time for the NX to be announced next year.

Of course, the Wii U is already backwards compatible with all of the Wii’s games, but if you don’t own a physical copy of Super Mario Galaxy, then this might be your best chance to finally find out why its the best rated game of all time. I think there might be something wrong with me, because I’m never able to really lose myself to it the same way I am with Super Mario 64.

I’m one of those weirdos who still prefers Super Mario Sunshine as well. What’s wrong with me?

For the longest while, Super Mario Galaxy 2 has been available, but as we all know, Nintendo fans want it all, and they want it now. We’re still waiting for official word from Nintendo, so treat this as a rumor for now.
