The Hunger Games is still holding on to the top spot in its fourth weekend.
1. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 benefitted from the only big opening of the weekend falling short and landing in second place. The final of the original Hunger Games movies took in $11.3M this weekend for a new domestic total of $244.49M and a global take of $564.59M.
2. In the Heart of the Sea
The new Chris Hemsworth film took in a fairly anemic $11M to land in second place in its opening weekend.
3. The Good Dinosaur
The latest from Pixar, The Good Dinosaur, landed in third place in its third weekend with $10.49M. It now stands at $89.66M domestically.
Creed, the latest installment in the Rocky series, fell to forth place in its third weekend with $10.12M. Domestically it now stands at $79.32M.
Krampus, the comedic Christmas horror film, rounded out the top five with $8M. Domestically it now stands at $28.15M off of a $15M budget.
