Samsung recently unveiled upgraded versions of the Galaxy A3, A5 and A7, but the rumored Galaxy A9 is still a mystery. Now a series of leaked pictures posted to Chinese social network Weibo may have finally revealed the device.
As expected, the Galaxy A9 appears to sport a massive 6-inch display with a 1080p resolution. Samsung also allegedly included a hefty 4000mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a Snapdragon 620 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.
Just like the new Galaxy A5 and A7, the A9 will offer Samsung Pay support thanks to a built-in fingerprint reader. The design hasn’t changed much either with 2.5D glass and a metal frame. Samsung’s even offering a rose gold color option for the 6-inch smartphone.
The Galaxy A9 will apparently cost 3,000 yuan (roughly $465) in China. It’s expected to launch pretty soon, though it’s still unclear when the device will be available in the U.S.
