Star Wars Battlefront has been out in the wild for about three weeks now, long enough for publisher Electronic Arts to gather some gameplay data to show off how popular their game is. After looking at the data, they also took the opportunity to highlight some under-used elements.
Unsurprisingly, Boba Fett is the most popular character, followed by Luke Skywalker. Interestingly, Darth Vader is the second to last, behind Han Solo and Princess Leia, ahead of only Emperor Palpatine. The X-Wing seems to be beating out the TIE Fighter in dog fights with about 60 percent of the kills, while Boba Fett’s Slave 1 and Han Solo’s Millenium Falcon are much more closely matched.
Just like in the films, AT-AT walkers can be taken down by a Snow Speeder’s tow cable, but EA says that less than 1 percent of the 36.3 million AT-AT kills have been performed that way. Is it that it’s too hard to pull off, or that it’s just easier to charge in?
Also highlighted is the fact that you can earn credits for use in the game using EA’s companion app, Base Command.
Also, Ewoks throw rocks at Stormtroopers, and so far the gibbering teddy bears have managed to hit 2.4 million players.
The infographic, shown below, also includes things like how many kills various vehicles have made, but this shows that the team is still watching the way balance shifts as they work on updates.
