Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster release date announced with silly costumes

Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster is the next game in Capcom’s popular series confirmed for a release, and fans can get their zombie fix in early 2016. The remaster will be available on Jan. 19, filling up the post-holiday void with a title that might actually be worth your time.

Those who pre-order will be able to unlock two goofy costumes for our protagonists, Rebecca and Billy. One will be wearing the Wolf Force armor while the other has a cheerleader outfit. I’ll leave it to your imagination as to who wears which. The pre-order bonus will be available on all platforms except the Xbox 360.

That’s a bit random, isn’t it?

Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster includes an HD remaster of the original game plus several new gameplay modes. As far as games in the main numbered series go, this one is probably the least played out there considering its limited console availability. No doubt this will be many fans’ first time to dive into this creepy horrorfest.

It will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on Jan. 19, and it will cost $19.99. Three days later, on Jan. 22, a physical version bundled with the first Resident Evil HD Remaster will be released for $39.99 as the Resident Evil Origins collection. This will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
