Assassin’s Creed Chronicles, Ubisoft’s 2.5D take on their semi-historical stabbing simulator, began last year with a chapter set in China.
This week, Ubisoft announced the next two chapters, and they’re coming along very soon.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia will release on January 12 and February 9, respectively, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Alongside the release of the Russian chapter, the series will also be getting a compiled release, both digital and physical, on Feburary 9, with a Vita release hitting a bit later.
While many fans of the mainline series feel it’s become a bit stale, the Chronicles games change the perspective and each features a unique art style meant to evoke the region in which it’s set, with the Russian chapter trying to look like Soviet propaganda, giving each a fresh look. The China chapter is in digital marketplaces for $9.99, so the other chapters will likely sport a similar price tag. No word yet on what the bundle will retail for.
