The Hunger Games is still holding on to the top spot in its third weekend.
1. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 held on to the top spot for a third weekend with $18.6M and now stands at $227.11M domestic and $523.91M globally.
Krampus, the comedic Christmas horror film, opened in second place with $16M off of a $15M budget. It actually won Friday much to everyone’s surprise.
Creed, the latest installment in the Rocky series, held onto third place with $15.54M, falling only 47.6 percent from its opening weekend. Domestically it now stands at $65.13M.
4. The Good Dinosaur
The latest from Pixar, The Good Dinosaur, fell to fourth place in its second weekend with a drop of 60.4 percent from its opening. It took in $15.51M and now stands at $75.95M domestically.
Spectre rounded out the top five taking in $5.42M for a new domestic total of $184.52M and a global total of $792M. While it’s performing well, it will come nowhere near the more than $1B that Skyfall took in.
