Final Fantasy X and other games leaked through the Steam Database

The Steam Database is a wonderful source of leaks, often showing upcoming titles for PC gamers whenever somebody accidentally flips the wrong switch. NeoGAF has compiled the most recent list, and it’s home to some pretty high profile titles.

Let’s see what we’re looking at below.

  • Half-Life 3

Okay, we officially have reason to doubt this list after only a single game, but I’ll keep going.

  • Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
  • Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster
  • Final Fantasy VI
  • Bad Rats Show
  • Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-
  • Little King’s Story
  • STEINS;GATE
  • Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture
  • Sonic Boom
  • Earth Defence Force 4.1
  • Criminal Girls
  • Stranger of Sword City

The biggest title, aside from the implausible Half-Life 3, is Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster. Square Enix has been making a lot of moves to bring the series to the PC platform, and Final Fantasy X is one of the most successful in its history. It would make sense to rile the troops with it if Square Enix was prepping for Final Fantasy XV.

We’ve already had word of Final Fantasy VI as well, so no shock there. Just emptiness…

The rest are hit and miss, but I’m noticing an awful lot of Vita ports. Little King Story has always interested me, and the same goes for Danganronpa. When it comes to quirky Japanese titles though, I think I would rather play them on a Vita.

These leaks are never 100 percent, but judging on how plenty of iconic Japanese series have been flocking to Steam in huge numbers as of late, I’ll believe many of these will be making an appearance sooner or later.

Just not Half-Life 3.
