Android 6.0.1 update rolling out to Nexus devices with new emoji (Update)

Google Nexus 6P Review-7

Google’s Nexus account on Google+ said Monday that new emojis are officially rolling out to Nexus owners beginning now. The emoji should line up with the additions that are already available on iOS 9.1. That means whenever your friend sends a taco or a middle finger, you’ll see exactly what they meant to send.

According to Ars Technica, Google is also including a new Google Keyboard in the Android 6.0.1 update and “a small change for tablets which rearranges the navigation bar a bit” and a change to Do Not Disturb mode that allows it to deactivate itself when an alarm goes off. Sounds like there isn’t much else included, though it might take some digging to find any additional hidden features.

If you own a Nexus device, you should find the update soon.

Update: Here’s the link to the official images.
