Amazon’s Underground service, which offers $10,000 worth of free apps, games, and in-app purchases for Android, is now available in more countries throughout Europe — including Italy and Spain.
When it launched back in August, Underground supported just four countries — the U.S., the U.K., Germany, and France — but it now supports 20. Amazon hasn’t provided us with the whole list of countries that are supported by this expansion, but if you live in Europe, there’s a good chance you can now get Underground on your device.
And it’s definitely worth downloading. Underground offers over 1,500 titles that are completely free. It not only offers paid releases for nothing, but also free titles in which all in-app purchases are unlocked. Some of the titles include stunning puzzle game Monument Valley, Frozen Free Fall, and Angry Birds Slingshot Stella.
Any developer can choose to submit their app to Underground to maximize downloads and increase their reach, and doing so does not mean they’re giving their work away for free; Amazon pays for every minute their app or game is used.
There’s no good reason not to download Amazon Underground on your Android device. To get started, simply visit the Android Underground webpage and download the app.
