It’s pretty cool being able to play Xbox One games on my PC, but why should it be limited to that? I should be able to play it anywhere. On a wall. A ceiling. The back of the person already using the TV.
While the first versions of Microsoft’s HoloLens aren’t intended for pubilc consumption, it looks like that functionality is already in place.
In a video posted by Microsoft project manager Varun Mani, we get a look at Halo 5: Guardians, running on an Xbox One, streamed to the HoloLens. Mani starts on a screen, then turns his head and begins to play it on the wall next to him. Just like with virtual reality, augmented reality is filled with endless possibilities, of which this is just one. Check out the video above to see it in action.
