Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 releasing in Japan on March 24

I’m going to preface this exciting news with a promise not to demand a localization. I’m still riding so high on the news of Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past coming out in English that I can’t muster any inner frustration to make such a demand. Still, you’re more than likely going to have to import this one, and you’d best be making pre-orders at your favorite import retailer soon.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 has been confirmed for a Nintendo 3DS launch in Japan on March 24. The game will cost 5,250 yen (about $42.50), and it’ll come packed with collectible rings depending on where you buy it from. Of course, if you are ordering from PlayAsia or from sites of its kind, chances are you’ll have little luck in securing such accessories.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 stars a young man with no memories who sets off on an adventure after starting a device called the “Reactor” with the palm of his hand. Oh, I didn’t realize this was going to be a direct sequel.
