Hey guys! Don’t forget about Mighty No. 9! The Kickstarter sensation has seen quite a few disastrous setbacks over the last year, but Comcept and publisher Deep Silver are still hard at work, plugging away for its upcoming February release.
The latest footage shows off many of the new features and gameplay modes that have been added in the days since its last delay. Co-op challenge modes, a race mode, the one-hit kill Maniac mode, boss rush modes, all the normal features of a modern day side-scroller.
I gotta say that I’m glad Deep Silver picked up the publishing rights for this game. Comcept might have been able to sell players on the idea back when it was a crowd-funding pitch, but since then, the trailers have been a bore and the game quickly fell into the back of my mind with the lackluster demos. It’s good to see a company with actual marketing experience push Mighty No. 9 properly, because this trailer actually makes me excited for it again.
Good job, Deep Silver! The game will be at PlayStation Experience next week along with Director Keiji Inafune on Dec. 5 and 6.
Mighty No. 9 will launch for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, PS Vita, and Wi U on Feb. 9, 2016.
