Star Wars Battlefront pays homage to a classic Star Wars goof

You know all the classic Star Wars moments. Darth Vader reveals his true identity to Luke. Leia calls Han a scruffy-looking nerf herder. R2-D2 and C-3P0 argue at seriously inconvenient times. That Storm Trooper knocks his head on the door in A New Hope. Okay, so maybe that last one isn’t quite on the same level as the others, but it’s no less beloved.

Star Wars Battlefront might be a shallow game, but no one is going to deny that it is a true love letter to the series that spawned it. It replicates and grows the Star Wars experience in every way it possibly can, right down to the little details. So little, in fact, that no one noticed one detail until someone over at GamesRadar spotted it.

Just as the Storm Trooper in A New Hope’s restricted vision causes him to run into an opening door, one far in the background of a cut scene in Battlefront doesn’t realize how close he’s walking to the stairs nearby.

Whether the game can keep gamers overall coming back or not, stuff like this suggests that fans of the series still have plenty of fun and love to mine out of the game.
