The PlayStation 4 is popular. Really, really popular. When a company decides to push a game as being “best” on the system, it really shows. Case in point: Star Wars Battlefront.
According to p-stats.com, the PlayStation 4 had over 180,000 concurrent players at its peak over the game’s launch weekend. By comparison, the Xbox One had about 105,000 and the PC topped out at 48,000.

The breakdown by percentage roughly matches the estimates of consoles sold, with the PlayStation 4 nearly but not quite doubling the Xbox One’s install base currently. The game has been pushed so hard as a console title, as well, that it’s not surprising the PC is lagging despite the wider install base. Aggressive PC sales could turn that around in time. For now, though, it looks like PlayStation 4 is the place to go if you want to play Star Wars Battlefront and make sure you can find a game.
