Microsoft’s new Lumia 950 XL phablet has received yet another pre-order price cut ahead of its official debut in the United Kingdom. The handset can now be ordered from Amazon for just £464.99 (approx. $701) — £65 less than its original price of £529.99 (approx. $799).
This is the third price cut Amazon has made on the Lumia 950 XL since making it available to pre-order. The retail giant originally cut £50 off the original price, then another £10 a little while later — and now another £5 before the handset makes its official debut next month.
Amazon’s pre-order price guarantee means that no matter how much the Lumia 950 XL was priced at when you ordered it, you’ll only pay the lowest pre-order price. So if you ordered at £529.99, you’ll only pay £464.99; you don’t need to cancel your order and place a new one at the new price.
The smaller Lumia 950 remains at £419.99 (approx. $633).
The Lumia 950 XL boasts a 5.7-inch Quad HD display packing 515 pixels-per-inch, a quad-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. The device also offers a microSD card slot, a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 3,340mAh battery.
