Amazon U.K. reduces the Moto X Play to just £200 today only

If you’re planning to treat yourself to a new smartphone ahead of the holiday season, and you want great specifications at a terrific price, look no further than the new Motorola Moto X Play from Amazon U.K. For today only, the handset will cost you just £200 (approx. $303).

At a little over three months old, the Moto X Play is one of the latest handsets in Motorola’s lineup, which means it’ll be one of the first in line for Marshmallow — and on the list for updates for years to come. It might not be Motorola’s best device, but it’s still a great one — especially at £199.99.

That price tag gets you a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 1.7GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera, and 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot. The Moto X Play also boasts a water-resistant form factor, and a 3,630mAh battery that promises 48 hours of use.

The Moto X Play is normally priced between £260 and £280 (approx. $393 to $424) in the U.K., so this is a sizable discount — the biggest we’ve seen so far on this device. But remember, you only have today to take advantage of it, so don’t wait around if you’re interested.
