Phuc Dat Bich keeps getting his Facebook account closed… for some reason

You might run into trouble with Facebook if you have a name that resembles naughty words. At least that’s the story from a man named Phuc Dat Bich, who says Facebook has repeatedly shut down his account because, read one way, it sounds like…. well, you get it.

“I find it highly irritating the fact that nobody seems to believe me when I say that my full legal name is how you see it,” Bich wrote on Facebook. “I’ve been accused of using a false and misleading name of which I find very offensive. Is it because I’m Asian? Is it? Having my fb shut down multiple times and forced to change my name to my “real” name, so just to put it out there. My name. Yours sincerely, Phuc Dat Bich.”

Bich posted photos of what appears to be his Australian passport to prove that its his birth name. They were originally put on the social network back in January of this year, but it seems to have just gone viral.

It’s unclear why Facebook has continued to shut down his page – one would assume it’s an issue that could be taken care of after a possible mistake.
