Star Wars Battlefront’s Season Pass will be $50, details inside

Star Wars Battlefront has a pretty pricey Season Pass, and EA has laid out exactly what you’ll be getting by dropping your money up front. Overall, it has four DLC packs in the pipe, and they’ll start to be released in early 2016.

For $50, you’ll have access to four heroes and villains, twenty weapons and vehicles, four new gameplay modes, sixteen new maps, two weeks of exclusive access to the DLC content before everyone else, and an exclusive “Shoot First” emote.

Because… you know… Han shot first.

If we’re looking at good old fashioned mathematics here, each of these numbers are divisible by four. My guess is that each of the expansions will see one new hero character, five new vehicles and weapons, a new gameplay mode, and four all new multiplayer maps. Nice and simple, and I didn’t even have to do long division!

Star Wars Battlefront’s first DLC pack, “Battle of Jakku,” will be free and available from next month, and it does not count in the Season Pass’ content. Your $50 will start to reap the rewards in “early 2016.”

Star Wars Battlefront is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
