Microsoft recently updated its Skype for Android application with several new features that Skype says are all about sharing experiences.

Skype 6.11, available in the Google Play Store now, gives the end user deeper control over message management. There’s now an option to long tap on a chat or a contact that brings up a new menu with options to mute, delete or mark conversations as read. Skype has new sharing features, too including an option to now easily share photos from your camera roll right into a Skype group chat. And speaking of multimedia, videos that are shared through chat can now be saved right to your phone, too.
