Withings Activité Steel unveiled with stainless steel design

by Jacob Kleinman | November 16, 2015

Withings impressed us earlier this year with the Activité, a classy wristwatch with fitness tracking capabilities but an intimidating $450 price tag. It wasn’t long before the company returned with the significantly cheaper $150 Activité Pop. Now it’s back again with a premium Activité Steel that still keeps the price under $200.

The Steel is available now straight from the French watchmaker for $169.95. It features a stainless steel design and a silicone strap that looks pretty good in black. The watch face design has been tweaked slightly as well, and you still get a smaller hand for measuring your daily progress.

Just like its predecessors, the Steel will automatically measure your activity throughout the day, and syncs seamlessly with Android and iOS devices. It packs an 8-month battery that never needs to charge, along with a water-resistant design for swimming. It can also track your sleep if you wear it at night, and even features a vibrating alarm to wake you up in the morning.

You can order the Withings Activité Steel now. The first 300 orders ship on November 17. After that you’ll have to wait another week until the 25th.
