Apple Stores to get ‘regular shipments’ of iPad Pro Smart Keyboard, Pencil

If you’ve already ordered your iPad Pro, you’re probably disappointed that you’re going to have to wait weeks to get an iPad Pro Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil to go with it. But you can reduce that wait by picking them up at an Apple Store, rather than ordering online.

As things stand, the shipping estimates for both the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil is 4-5 weeks when you order from the Apple Online Store, while the iPad Pro itself ships out in just 5-7 days if you buy a 128GB model, or just 1 day when you order a 32GB model.

Lots of people are going to be buying iPad Pros and not having Apple accessories to go with them for a while, then. But rather than order these things online and wait for them to arrive, you’re likely to get them faster if you frequently check stock at your local Apple Store.

“We have limited supply of Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard in Apple Retail stores,” an Apple spokesperson told Mashable. “Our stores will continue to receive regular shipments and we encourage customers to visit for online availability and delivery dates.”

You may have to visit your local Apple Store regularly, or look for stock online on a daily basis, but you will almost certainly be able to pickup the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil faster this way. Of course, you will save yourself a lot of time and effort if you don’t mind waiting up to five weeks for shipping.
