Xbox One’s big update is here, and backwards compatibility hits later today

If you haven’t already downloaded it, the big Xbox One update is here. It’s just over a gig and packs a whole new look, new navigation, and a major speed boost.

Perhaps the most anticipated element of the update, though, isn’t here quite yet. Not for a few more hours.

“The Backwards Compatibility feature will begin rolling out at 3:01 p.m./12:01 p.m. (noon) PT on November 12th,” according to Xbox Live’s director of programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb.

Once it rolls out, any digital games you own will appear in your game collection, and discs will start working. While you wait, scroll through the official list and see what you plan to play if you take a break from Fallout 4. I’ll be playing Pac-Man CE DX+. Jump into the comments and let us know what you’re most excited about on the current list.
