The free Fallout 3 bonus for Fallout 4 on Xbox One expires in February

by Eric Frederiksen | November 10, 2015

If you’re picking up Fallout 4 on Xbox One, you get a free copy of Fallout 3 with it via the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility. For now, at least.

If you’re looking to score that free copy, you won’t want to wait too long. The deal does have an expiration date and Gamespot reports that Fallout 4‘s product page puts a hard mark on that – February 8.

If you purchase the game digitally, you’ll get your code about a week later via a message to your Xbox profile.

If you do pick it up, the game will be part of the initial batch of backwards compatible games going live on November 12, so it’ll be usable as soon as it shows up in your inbox, if Fallout 4 isn’t somehow taking your time up already.

Fallout 4 releases today, November 10, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Make sure to check out our review!
