Xbox One’s backwards compatibility launch list is here – 104 games!

by Joey Davidson | November 9, 2015

The Xbox One is getting backwards compatibility this week. This feature is part of the New Xbox Experience, and it was announced all the way back during E3 this past June.

We’ve been waiting, but now that it’s almost here, we finally have a look at the games immediately available. It doesn’t take actual coding work to port the games. Thanks to how the emulation works, all Microsoft really needs is permission from the original publishers.

What are some of the highlights in the list of 104 games to start? Mirror’s Edge, Condemned: Criminal Origins, Fable IIShadow ComplexMs. ‘Splosion Man and a few more.

Here’s the list of games available starting on November 12 when the new dashboard and its backwards compatibility go live.
