Pre-orders for the Pebble Time Round, the company’s first circular smartwatch, have been open since the device was first announced back in September. Now we finally know when the new smartwatch will actually ship, along with when you’ll be able to find it in stores.
Pebble announced announced on Thursday that it plans to launch the new wearable on Sunday, Nov. 8, when pre-orders will also ship. The device will also be available at Best Buy and Target stores around the country, where you’ll be able to try it out for yourself. Of course, you’ll also be able to buy it online from Amazon, Pebble, Best Buy and Target at the same time.
The Pebble Time Round costs $249 and features an always-on color e-paper display. It’s just 7.5mm thin and weighs only 28 grams, making it the lightest smartwatch on the market. It packs a two-day battery, and quick charging that should get you a full day of power in just 15 minutes. It’s also splash resistant, so you don’t have to worry about getting caught in the rain.
The design is elegant, though we’re still not sold on the thick bezel. It’s available in 10 different versions with different colors schemes, including six with a 14mm band and four more with a 20mm band for larger wrists.
You can still pre-order the Pebble Time Round right now, though at this point the fastest way to get the device is probably at a physical store on Sunday.
