Lab Zero Games has turned the heat up for support of its struggling indie game, Indivisible. The SkullGirls developer is looking for $1.5 million to fund its Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid inspired RPG, and yet, with less than two weeks left, it is hovering around 41 percent of its goal at about $610,000.
Everyone who sees this game in action wants it to get made, even Sony, who is letting the indie studio use PlayStation Network as a platform to help spread its prototype demo, and yet it is still struggling to find a wider audience. Now, the rest of the indie scene is getting involved, helping spread the word by throwing in their support and familiar characters to help sell the game to other fanbases.
Indivisible has secured the aid of seven popular indie heroes, extending to:
- Annie from Skullgirls
- Calibretto from Battle Chasers
- The Drifter from Hyper Light Drifter
- Juan from Guacamelee
- Lea from Curses N’ Chaos
- Shovel Knight from Shovel Knight
- Zackasaurus from Super Time Force Ultra
All are from popular hits, and all of them have big fanbases that hopefully get the message. Indivisible is one you definitely want to see happen. Lab Zero Games CEO Peter Bartholow says that each of the characters will feel authentic to their original inceptions in Indivisible’s battle system, and he hopes to announce more in the future.
