In case you forgot amidst all the Halo 5: Guardians, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Fallout 4 hype, there’s a new Need For Speed coming out. It’s actually launching soon, as signaled by this brand new launch trailer.
The trailer itself touts that all game footage was captured in engine. The other footage is live action. The new Need For Speed blends gameplay with full motion video.
The new Need For Speed features a lower number of cars than other competing racing titles. This time around, you’ll have access to 40 rides. However, the emphasis is being placed on how you customize your individual ride rather than unlocking hundreds of cars. From the press release:
From side skirts to spoilers, fenders to wing mirrors, tires, rims and much more, almost every area of the car is available for you to craft.
Need For Speed releases for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 3, 2015. It’s coming to PC in the spring of next year. If you have an Xbox One and are subscribed to EA access, you can play a bit of the game now.
