Apple Pencil comes with Lightning cable charging accessory

Apple’s iPad Pro will take advantage of a new peripheral dubbed the Apple Pencil. It’s basically a big stylus, and it’s something we never really thought Apple would develop, but we digress. The Apple Pencil will charge by plugging directly into a Lightning port on the iPad Pro. If your iPad Pro is running out of juice, there will be another option.

9to5Mac recently detailed a new Apple Pencil charging accessory that will allow the stylus to charge with a Lightning cable. Basically, you’ll plug the Lightning cable into one end of the accessory, the Apple Pencil into the other, and you’re good to go. Apple usually charges extra for adapters of all shapes and sizes, but 9to5Mac says it will actually come with the peripheral.

The iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil are expected to arrive sometime in November, which could mean as soon as next week.
