Fallout 4 pre-load will hit all platforms a “few days” before release

Fallout fans can breathe easy; no matter what platform you’re playing on, Bethesda says the game will be up for pre-load a few days before release, ensuring you have time to download the game before the alarm bells go off on November 10 and everyone hides in their bunkers for a month.

Bethesda isn’t ready to give an exact day, but “a few days” gives us a pretty narrow window at this point.

The game clocks in at 28GB, smaller than most releases these days, and is single player only, so the pre-load should do a good job of ensuring there aren’t any obstacles for the game’s biggest fans when it launches.

Fallout 4 hits PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One no November 10.
