Over the course of 2016, gamers will see four separate DLC packs for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. These packs are set to include maps and extra Zombies content.
The interesting stuff, to me at least, lies in the maps coming. On the Xbox store page for the Season Pass for Black Ops III, Microsoft and Activision note that part of the four packs to be released includes “re-imagined fan-favorite maps from Call of Duty: World at War and the Call of Duty: Black Ops series.”
Folks knocked it at the time, but I really, really dug World at War‘s multiplayer side. Some of the maps were pretty awesome, like Dome, Airfield and Makin. I’d love to see them reimagined, but I don’t think I’ll shell out for a season pass. I like to know what content I’m getting before I spend money.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III will sell for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms on Nov. 6, 2015. We’ll have more on the game as it comes.
