Microsoft Lumia 640 for AT&T now $59.99, no contract

The Microsoft Lumia 640 isn’t one of Microsoft’s new flagship devices for Windows 10, though it will get the update. It is, however, now a very affordable smartphone for users interested in AT&T’s network and a no-contract smartphone.

Best Buy is now selling the Lumia 640, a smaller version of the Lumia 640 XL, for just $59.99 without any sort of contract. No, you’re not looking at flagship specs or anything particularly unique, but it does have a solid polycarbonate industrial design, a 1.2GHz processor that handles Windows Phone 8.1 just fine, an 8-megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage.

Hit the link to grab one from Best Buy now. The phone can be used with AT&T’s prepaid Go Phone plan, and it could serve as a great backup or a way to dive into a new ecosystem at an affordable price.
