Europe and much of the rest of the gaming world finally join North America and Japan today with their very own price cut for the PlayStation 4. Three weeks after Japan’s cut and two weeks after North America’s, Sony has officially confirmed that its console’s price will be dropped in Europe to €349.99/£299.99 starting from today.
Europe is not alone in the price drop, either! Plenty of other regions will either be waking up to or going to bed with the same good news. New Zealanders will get a slash to $569.95, and Australia joins in at $479.95. I guess PlayStation Blog Europe also covers the United Arab Emirates, part of the SCEE region, which closes out at AED1399.
The prices are in effect now, so happy holiday shopping no matter what part of the world you are from.
