It’s been quite the week full of trailers, announcements, pictures and more. Not only did we get confirmation that Godzilla is going to do battle with King Kong, but there’s a rumor floating around claiming a new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens is going to hit next Monday.
There’s also been a lot of steam regarding Hulk’s involvement in Thor: Ragnarok, which is set for a 2017 release. Apparently the film won’t take place on Earth or Asgard, leading many to believe Marvel is ready to tackle the Planet Hulk storyline. We’re game.
Finally, we got the briefest of glimpses at Daredevil season 2, giving us a quick first look at both Elektra and Punisher. Marvel’s Jessica Jones is coming out next month, so that’ll help tide us over until the second season of Daredevil hits. Until then, check out the teaser to whet your appetite.

Current “it” girl and standout star of Mission: Impossible—Rogue Nation, Rebecca Ferguson, is apparently being sought after for a role in Alien: Paradise Lost. Legion coming to FX
Marvel’s Legion, the story of a troubled young man who might be more than human, is coming to FX Networks. The show is being handled by people who have contributed to comic movies and shows in the past, so it’s seemingly in good hands. No word on a release just yet. [Marvel]
Moon Knight coming to Netflix?
Speaking of a new Marvel show, a new report claims the Marvel comics character, Moon Knight, is getting his own TV show on Netflix. Moon Knight is described as Marvel’s version of Bruce Wayne, though his name isn’t quite as awesome as Batman. [DarkHorizons]
Brand new Guardians 2 details
Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has revealed new details about Guardians 2, saying a very important character is going to appear in the team. Of course, he didn’t say who, though many people believe it’ll be Adam Warlock. Our money is on Bug, who was actually pulled from the first movie.
Gunn also said an Avengers team-up isn’t likely, but he could just be deflecting attention away for an eventual Infinity War appearance. [HollywoodReporter]
Fantastic Four is staying at Fox
Even though Fantastic Four bombed, the rights are remaining at Fox. With Marvel and Fx teaming up for new shows, people wrongly assumed the Fantastic Four rights might be handed over to Marvel, but 20th Century Fox has confirmed that isn’t happening. Looks like we’ll never get that Fantastic Four we’ve always wanted. [ComicBook]
Batgirl to be voiced by Rosario Dawson
The Lego Batman movie just keeps getting better and better. Will Arnett has already signed to reprise the Dark Knight, and Michael Cera is going to voice his sidekick, Robin; meanwhile, Zach Galifianakis is rumored to play Joker. So, hey, why not Rosario Dawson to play Batgirl, rounding on what is a stellar voice cast. Sounds good to me. [HollywoodReporter]
Rachel McAdams’ role in Doctor Strange revealed
The role of Rachel McAdams hasn’t officially been unveiled, but the rumor mill is burning with a report claiming she’ll play Christine Palmer, also known as Night Nurse. Think of her as the same character as Linda Carter in Daredevil, who was played by Rosario Dawson. There’s also a rumor that claimed she’d play Clea, but who knows. Doctor Strange comes out in 2016. With the movie side of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe firmly established, it sounds as though the TV side is anything but. Bleeding Cool reports Marvel Studios might not sign off on a standalone series for Iron First, which was previously announced as coming to Netflix. Apparently there’s some infighting happening between Kevin Feige, who heads Marvel […]
Last we heard, George Miller said he already had ideas for two more Mad Max films, though he hasn’t exactly divulged any details. Looks like he didn’t mind sharing one piece of information: you can say goodbye to Imperator Furiosa. In Fury Road, Charlize Theron’s Furiosa was far and away the best parts of the […]

That shared universe between King Kong and Godzilla is happening—and sooner than you think. After Kong: Skull Island in 2017 and Godzilla 2 in 2018, Warner Bros. has plans to introduce Godzilla vs Kong in 2020, which isn’t all that far off in the world of movies. This rumor has been kicking around for a […]
You know those goofy Rabbids that were spun off from the Rayman series? Well, Variety reports they’re getting their own feature film written by the scribes of Robot Chicken. If Minions can star in their own standalone film, Rabbids seem like a prime candidate for similar treatment. At least that’s what Sony Pictures Entertainment thinks. The film […]
Is there anything better than looking at pictures from Star Wars: The Force Awakens? We’ve already seen our fair share of images as we approach the movie’s release, and we’ve hit yet another jackpot of photos to drool over. Granted, many of these we’ve seen in some form already, and a lot are directly from the […]

In fact, sources claim Ruffalo is this close to signing on the dotted line—the likelihood of him doing so are high. At this point, chances are Ruffalo and […]
In case you somehow missed it, every Pixar movie that hits the silver screen is preceded by a short film from the studio. These shorts are wonderful, and some stand as the best quick bits of animation Pixar makes. Sanjay’s Super Team is the short that’s set to debut alongside Pixar’s upcoming The Good Dinosaur. […]
