Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes played by series Producer Eiji Aonuma

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes is the next Zelda title for the Nintendo 3DS. It’s a bit less traditional than others, taking more of a Four Swords approach than a standard campaign.

Series Producer Eiji Aonuma took time to sit down with Nintendo’s PR team to make a “Let’s Play” video. Aonuma is joined by two other players for just shy of 13 minutes of gameplay following a lengthy explanation of the game itself.

Aonuma starts the demo alone, enters a lobby and selects online play in order to start his adventure. That’s when he joins up with other devs in order to make it happen. Players select a region, vote on a dungeon, don their outfits and a lot more.

I played The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes at E3 this year. I arrived with a lot of hesitation, but the game actually looks pretty fun. I’m just hoping I have friends to play it with. Going solo with dummies seems a little rough.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes will launch for the 3DS on Oct. 23, 2015. We’ll have more on the game as it comes.
