Last month Samsung unveiled its new SmartThings hub along with a few other Internet of Things gadgets. Now the company is rolling out a SmartThings Home Monitoring Kit that includes everything you need for $249.

That includes the redesigned hub along with two Multipurpose sensors that can monitor your doors, windows, cabinets or the garage door. You also get a Motion Sensor that tracks activity inside the house. Finally, there’s the SmartThings Outlet, which lets you control whatever’s plugged into that outlet from your phone.

You can also add extra devices to your smarthome setup. SmartThings already supports roughly 200 third-party gadgets. The company also offers its own platform to make it easy for developers to add support for their own products.

Setting up the basic kit shouldn’t take too long. You’ll also need to download the SmartThings app for iOS and Android so you can manage your entire home and get alerts even when you’re out.

The Home Monitoring Kit is available straight for SmartThings and Samsung, along with Amazon, Best Buy and Sears. If you’re starting from scratch, this looks like a pretty good deal. The hub that’s available on its own for $99.
