Stealth sims are a steal in this sneaky Steam sale

Pretty sneaky, Steam! Like a ninja of the night, Valve sprung a sale upon us. It’s not a seasonal sale, a holiday sale, or anything like that. It’s a stealth sale.

It’s a stealth sale in both the sense that we didn’t see it coming and that all the games on sale are all about stealth. There’s a pretty awesome lineup of games ready for the picking, and some of them are mighty cheap. Here are a few of my favorites:

Splinter Cell: Blacklist, perhaps the best in the series, is $7.49.

Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition – the original, released in 2000, is $1.39. There’s a free, fan-made update that gives the game a huge visual overhaul, too.

Assassin’s Creed II stretches the definition of stealth, but it’s an amazing game and it’s $4.99.

Mark of the Ninja has an awesome take on side-scroller sneaking for $3.74.

Beyond Good & Evil is a classic, no question, and is only $2.49.

That short list doesn’t make mention of the Thief series, Far Cry series, and piles of other games available in the sale. There’s tons of great stuff, and it’s on sale until Oct. 16, at which point it’ll throw down a smoke bomb and disappear into the shadows for good.

Check out the full list in the source link below.
