When Treyarch makes a Call of Duty title, it typically features a really awesome zombie mode. That appears to be the case for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops III as well.
This time around, the mode is titled “Shadows of Evil,” and its set in a 1940s, film noir-inspired world. Treyarch is calling it “the deepest Zombies experience to date,” though that might just be marketing hyperbole.
It does feature a pretty stellar set of heroes. This mode has become something of a bastion for Hollywood talent, oddly enough. That returns with “Shadows of Evil” as it stars Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Ron Perlman and Neal McDonough. That’s an awesome collection of talent, folks.
This actually looks like a lot of fun. I’m not much for zombie titles anymore, but I dig the 40s, film noir style and the presence of actors like Goldblum and Graham. Activision and Treyarch have piqued my interest, for sure.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III will launch on Nov. 6, 2015 for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
