The Witcher 3‘s newest patch, 1.10, is so big that it skipped right over 1.09. The patch, which includes over 300 fixes and improvements, fills twelve and a half pages of plain, unadorned text in PDF form.
The fixes include dozens of performance improvements and fixes for quest-breaking glitches, and even adds in a few features like different difficulty levels for the Gwent card game.
Including that many fixes in a single patch – which precedes the release of next week’s expansion, Hearts of Stone – makes for a pretty hefty download, says CD Projekt Red’s Marcin Momot. If you’re playing on a console, you can look forward to 15GB of download. If you’re on PC, though, the download may be anywhere from 6 to 15GB depending on whether you picked the game up on Steam, GOG, or somewhere else.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s expansion, Hearts of Stone, releases Oct. 13 across all platforms.
