Han Solo, Leia, Palpatine, Boba Fett files discovered in Star Wars Battlefront beta

Palpatine TIE FIGHTER

Overeager fans have dug up several revealing files from the Star Wars Battlefield PC beta test that should hint about the content of the final game. Four more familiar faces will possibly be joining Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker as “hero” characters, and several new gameplay modes were alluded to as well.

First up is the most important. The files all mention that Princess Leia, Han Solo, Emperor Palpatine and Boba Fett will be able to join the battle during the game. SoundCloud already has their voice clips uploaded and ready for impatient fans.

The other new gameplay modes alluded to are Hero Battle and Hero Hunt, and my guess is that their names are pretty self-explanatory. Hero Battle is most likely a mode which allows only hero characters to be playable, meaning everyone is on even ground from the beginning. Hero Hunt means that a single character will control a hero, and the other team will be tasked with killing them.

That would be even better if the hero had no army to back them up. One vs a never ending army of spawns!

Whatever these files truly mean, we’ll  have to wait until the full launch on Nov. 17. Star Wars Battlefront will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
