PlayStation 4 price drop confirmed, starts tomorrow!

All of the leaks and rumors have finally paid off. Sony has confirmed through PlayStation Blog that the PlayStation 4 will drop in price to $349.99 USD / $429.99 CAD (MSRP) starting tomorrow, Oct. 9.

In addition to the price drop, Sony has confirmed that several PlayStation 4 bundles will be available throughout the holiday season, each of them reflecting the overall price drop of the console and packaged with a game. See the full list and their release date below.

I’m starting to become a bit more impressed with my PlayStation 4 these days. It was a rough first two years, but we finally have the kind of stuff I’m into: quality Japanese releases like Bloodborne, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, not to mention the huge library of JRPGs over the horizon. I can finally say that the software line-up matches the value of the dropped price.

The PlayStation 4 is worth your $349.99, and if you haven’t picked one up yet, wait until tomorrow!
