Sonic Lost World is spinning from the Wii U to PC in November

Sega has announced that Sonic Lost World will leave its two year Wii U exclusivity officially in a matter of weeks. On Nov. 2, 2015, Sonic Lost World will hit the PC platform.

This PC port “will feature full controller support, Steam Achievements, Cloud Save, leaderboard functionality, interchangeable keyboard prompts depending on whether you play with controller or mouse and keyboard and widescreen and high resolution implementation.” It will sell with the Nightmare DLC included for $24.99 total.

That’s a good deal.

Finally, those who pre-order the game digitally will get a copy of Sonic and All Star Racing Transformed.

Sonic Lost World was actually a solid title. Perfect? No, certainly not. I’d put it as one of the better Sonic games released over the last two decades, though that’s not really saying all that much given the quality of the franchise recently.

It’s a decent purchase, especially at $24.99. I paid full price for it when it hit the Wii U in 2014, and enjoyed it, for whatever that’s worth.
