Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 now available

If you own a Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2013) Nexus 9 or Nexus Player, you can now download the factory image for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, bringing you the very latest version of Google’s operating system.

The factory images will require you to flash your device, which takes a bit of legwork but can be done easily. It isn’t yet available over the air, at least to our knowledge. As we already knew, devices such as the Nexus 4, the Nexus 10 and the original Nexus 7 are left out of this update.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow offers plenty of new features. One of the ones we’re most excited about is called “Now on Tap,” and allows you to bring up Google Now, with contextual information inside of applications such as Chrome. Hit the source to grab the factory image for your device now.
